WONDERFUL PAIR VICTORIAN ANTIQUE BRONZE GIRANDOLES CANDLESTICKS CANDLEHOLDERSFor your consideration, a nice old pair of girandoles. The figural candleholders are in the pattern of "Paul and Virginia" and feature a young courting couple. Pieces as these date to the late 1800s and early 1900s and were popular with the Victorians. The pair is in great condition for its age, but you will find a couple of nicks to the white marble which is commensurate to its age and use. I believe someone added the feature that holds the glass globes much later and I, personally, might remove them but that is up to you. These bronze candleholders have a nice leafy bobeche from which hang 10 crystal octagons and 10 crystal spear prisms. Total length of the 10 prisms pairs is about 4". These are quite heavy, so condsider that with shipping. If you should get an outrageous quote, please let me know as I have had some difficulty with "irregular package" being checked without my doing so. I'll be happy to double check the rate for you and we might save by shipping FedEx. Sold as is so ask questions and bid accordingly. Measurements: With globes, 23 " high x 6" wide x 4" deep Without globes, pieces are approx. 13 1/2" high Globes measure 5" top diameter and 10" tall
