Antique vintage Santa Claus or elf candy container Western Germany: Hollow cardboard figure, body and feet flocked in red, removeable head and hat with white rabbit fur hair and beard, pointed glitter-covered blue hat edged in a chenille band; plastic lantern hangs from right hand. Back of neck stamped "Made in Western Germany ". This mark was used for a very short time right after World War II before the country's name became " West Germany ". In absolutely spectacular, unmarked condition except for the tip of the pointed cap, which is folded over and shows paint loss at the fold. T are NO rubs, soil, scratches, smudges, or any other damage. 8" high.
