Thanks for stopping by...... ANTIQUE/VINTAGE SATIN SPAR PINCHBECK GOLD DUAL STICK PIN SET/SHAWL PIN/ STICKPIN This is very rare & unusual double shawl pin from the Victorian/early 1900s era. It features 5 fabulous egg shaped satin spar stones, each measures 1.3cm long and has a diameter of 1.2cm at its widest past. It appears to be made from pinchbeck gold, very convincing - looks just like real gold. Each pin is 7.2cm long and the chain and 3 satin spars between measure 9.5cm. It's in great condition, obviously there is minor rubbing to the satin spar stones as they are very soft, but a light buff gets rid of them.These pins were probably intended at the time as shawl pins - these days they would look fantastic looped on a lapel or even to secure a Hijab & would obviously be very at home as part of a bridal outfit. ..........................................
