My great-aunt in NYC had a (what she called) Victorian pillow collection. These were the boudoir type, which she had on her bed. I think that all of them were from the 1920's and 1930's. I inherited these pillows in 1985, and had them on our bed until 1992, when I wrapped them in tissue paper, and put them all in suitcases, which were moved to storage. There they stayed until 2015. When we were downsizing our storage unit, I brought them home. Unfortunately, they had acquired a musty odor. So, I packed them in with all my lavender pillows from Provence, and finally, it seems that the odor is gone on some of them. They have a pleasant smell now. (These four among them.)These seem to be a set of four,as,they are very similar, and two are identical. The pillows are made of a peachy pink fragile silk. However, no tears or rips or stains on the backs. The beige front cover is made of lace, and here again, I can find no tears or rips. There is the one stain spot on one of the two identical pillows. Our lovely Arizona sun makes it hard to photograph such items, so I have used different rooms and different backgrounds for the photos. The lace seems to have age discoloration. Including the lace trim around the edges, these are all approximately 11.5 square inches in size.NON-SMOKERS HERE.FEEDBACK IS PROMPTLY RECIPROCATED
