Parke Davis Choice Botanic Drugs Valerian Root Tin with Hinged Lid Very early and exquisite Parke, Davis & Company Choice Botanic Drugs Tin with original hinged lid. This tin also has the original metal labels intact on the top and side indicating this was used for Pressed Valerian Root. This tin measures approx 9' (H) X 4 3/4" (W) X 5 1/4" , Overall condition is very good to near excellent for it's age and usage. I'm amazed at how nice this tin is. As I said, it has the original red metal Valerian Root labels on the top and side. The graphics and colors are extremely bold and bright with only very minimal fading and color loss. Few areas of paint loss and rubbing with minor surface scratching throughout tin, however very minor. The hinged lid fits the top quite well The inside of the tin has surface rust throughout, but minor. No holes or extensive areas of damage in this tin minor areas Overall I would rate the condition of this tin at 8 on a scale of 1-10. It's absolutely beautiful.
