Wonderful antique/vintage luggage trunk/chest/steamer. Circa 1900, this has an appointment to the king label inside, but with the queen Victoria crown.Excellent construction - hard black painted canvass, with very thick tough brown leather mounts & leather reinforced corners. Long straps don't go all the way round and strap over lock cover incomplete, side handles in very good order. All rivets, lock mech and receiver & metal mount fixings are of lovely quality aged brass. A real item of both quality and beauty.Fantastic shape, looks like it just came off the orient express or titanic! Would make an awesome blanket box or toy box/ general storage, and would look great in the right room. A real conversation piece!Inside divider made of wood creates three compartments in the top and one large space underneath.
