stunning antique union jack flag circa 1880 purchased from Harrods, Knightsbridge, London as a special order - (the Harrods receipt/proof of purchase will be included) - & framed in December 2012 in a bespoke glass & black frame - everything has been sourced & hand made especially the frame was made by The Frame Factory in Belsize Park, London & alone cost £625 (again, the receipt for this will be included). the frame is ash - sanded down to be perfectly smooth & finished with a black stain & slight wax - this is the frame style of choice in London's top art galleries (which this company make to order especially for this purpose) the frame is expertly thought through - due to the heavy weight, it can either stand on the floor as shown or be hung on the wall using the spliced wooden plank provided which would be screwed onto the wall & then slots in perfectly to the spliced top edge on the reverse side the flag is printed British Made in the top right corner (please see picture) the flag has been used in its day & has the string ties in position to be secured in the corners measures 71 inches across & 50.5 inches top to bottom - extra large size - a striking piece in any room collection only from central London please note - i am making zero profit on this sale - i only wish to recover my expenses as it was ordered as a gift & is read more
