Antique Victorian Velvet Photo Albumfrom Warsaw, Indiana area The photos are marked by Photographers: H. C. Milice of Warsaw, Indiana.; E. E. Krieg, of Cincinnati, OH, and Warsaw, Indiana, and Barrows of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Place Gallery of Warsaw. Not all of the photos were pulled out and looked at because of the risk of ripping the pages. None have dates or names, except for the Photographer's. The album is a hard bound green velvet with silver lettering Album and silver details. The silver clasp on the side is complete, has springs, and works by squeezing it together. It is in working condition. The pages are gilt gold on the edges. It measures approximately 10.5 inches X 8.5 inches. There are 15 cabinet pictures measuring approx. 6.5 X 4.5 inches. Then some empty pages where it looks like pictures were removed. Three smaller photos are inserted randomly towards the back. There are nine smaller photographs in the back couple of pages - giving a total of 27 pictures. Some are children, all are posed portraits. One picture looks very strange (the close-up) seems like adult faces on childrens' bodies or are they midgets? There was no photo-shopping back then :) The binding is intact in that all the pages are bound together, however the front cover is partly separated from the binding.
