Victorian Post Mortem Photo BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN PARLOR ALL ORIGINAL POST MORTEM PHOTO CIRCA LATE 19th CENTURY This is a wonderful example of Victorian mourning rituals. This post mortem photo features a beautiful woman, laid out on what appears to be cascading silk. She is in some type of Victorian parlor, and t are several interesting familial portraits surrounding her. The image measures 4.5 x 3.75 inches and is mounted on its original matte that is 7 x 5 7/8 inches. It dates to the late 19th or early 20th Century. The condition is very good, with no tears or stains. It would be a great addition to any collection of antique post mortem photos.
