This little vase is in perfect condition. It has the most buttery smooth eggshell feel to it, with a pale pink glaze on the outside and white clear glazed porcelain on the inside. T is a thick band of gold at the top and another at the foot. T are several kinds of flowers painted around the sides - roses, poppies, blue daisies, pansies. It is a real treasure and has been treated very well. This company was started in Portugal in the mid 1840's. I suspect this vase was made just before the art nouveau era. It measures 4" tall and it is about 4 1/3" wide at the top. T are no chips or problems of any sort, and if you flick the rim, t is a nice high tone. It is marked V A Portugal and Made in Portugal. Shipping is according to zip code to save you money and insurance is required. If you are overseas, it is always good to ask about postage before bidding, as the rates are high these days, and I have no control over that!
