Exquisite Bonwit Teller Porcelain Trinket Box. Beautiful lavender and blue violets surrounded by green foliage decorate the lid of this heavy high end box. The lid and box have a gold trim in excellent condition. Snow white porcelain with not a mark on it. Measures 7 inches long, 3 inches diameter and 1 1/2 inches tall. Weighs 1 pound 2 ounces. The Bonwit Teller mark is on the underside as is the original old sticker that has worn away except for Teller and some numbers but is evident of the old age. Bonwit Teller was a high end department store in New York catering to upper class clothing and goods. In 1930 Bonwit Teller had stores in Paris, Philadelphia and London. Today The Trump Tower stands in the stores old location. Highly collectible and beautiful and in like new excellent condition. THANKS FOR LOOKING |
