Original Antique Voigtlander & Sohn Photographic Lense Voigtlander & Sohn, Wien, Braunschweig, Serial #23996. I know less than I should about this lense and certainly do not have the photographic equipment to handle it. Purchased at auction, this is the best I can describe it: The worm drive sleeve moves easily, the lenses are clean on both sides (no cloudiness), the inside and outside threads on the lenses and case are in excellent condition, the original cover fits tightly. I want to point out the lacquer finish is mostly gone from the outside of the lense shroud and the inside of the shroud has lost a good portion of its' flat black non reflective coating. Also, the shroud edge appears to have a minor dent (it's not perfectly round). This lense has a pinpoint reflection near the outside edge that looks like an abrasion (I can't blow it off or wipe it off with a soft cotton cloth). The case measures approximately 8 5/8" (220 mm) tall, 4 1/2" (115 mm) shroud diameter, 3 3/4" (96 mm) outside diameter of base lense, 3 1/8" (79 mm) lense diameter and about a 2" (50 mm) sleeve movement from top to bottom. I hope this helps but if you have any questions, feel free to email. This is sold as described and as you see it in the photos so please review them carefully. Thank you for looking.
