Beautiful Porcelain Lamp Featuring the "Famous Volkstedt Porcelain Lace Ballerinas". Also known as Dresden Lace. This Volkstedt mark was used between 1907 and1949. (I believe this mark was used before the Muller-Volkstedt mark). So i think this was made closer to 1907. T is also an X in blue and the word Germany. T appears to be numbers incised in the base but i can't make it out. The lamp is white porcelain with gold trim and design around the base and stem. T are porcelain flowers on the base - t appears to be a small flower missing and some small leaves. T are also porcelain flowers throughout the lace on their dresses - BEAUTIFUL. The ballerina on the left has a repair to her right arm and is also missing her thumb. The ballerina on the right has a small area of lace missing. In my opinion it is very small. T is a white porcelain ball finial on top. I have added the shade and it is missing a small piece of plastic on the inside. (If you do not want the shade, just let me know). T is an inline switch on the cord. The lamp stands 19 3/4" from base to top of ball finial. I have other pictures if needed, just let me know. This will not be shipped out until Tuesday or Wednesday, Aug. 10th or 11th as i will be away until then.
