This is an interesting 8" x 10" advertising print for McCallum Silk Hosiery. It's a beautiful, colorful print in an Art Deco-influenced design. The print was removed from a magazine, likely from the late 1920s to the mid 1930s. The image shows a woman skiing as a rabbit (on the lower left) watches uncertainly. It's a charming, delightful print that is made all the more beautiful by the Art Deco influence. A companion piece is signed N.C. Woodbury, so I'm assuming the same artist did this piece as well. (The artist's name is NOT on this print, however.) The print has wear from handling and age, including wrinkles, some discoloration, and glue spots on the back where it was once pasted. This piece was cut from a magazine, and the cutting is uneven. It is in acceptable condition overall. Despite the wear, it would make an ideal addition to any wall.
