WELCOME The item up for sale is a beautiful classic Art Deco Victor Manual Cash Register is from the 1930s-40s era. It is made of thermo set plastic, a form of bakelite. The machine has all of its parts and I believe it is functioning in that when you hold up the total key and pull the level the cash drawer does open AND make a bell ringing sound. It closes up just fine after sale and all of the buttons work. It comes with a small amount of the tape left on roll. It is pretty clean for age but could certainly benefit by a cleaning. It has the see thru plastic piece at the tape fully intact. There is a small piece missing on the front as pictured. It is in good condition , considering its age. All mechanisms work , including the ribbon, paper receipt advance and drawer which moves very smoothly. It prints faintly but very well and will need to be re-inked, if you choose to do so. There is some wear to the keypad area, and its in need of a proper cleaning - overall, its a very nice cash register that could be put to use tomorrow! The outer housing is made of bakelite . The drawer is faced in bakelite and constructed of molded bakelite. Inside the drawer, the compartments are all in very good shape, with little sign of wear/use.
