Here we offer for your consideration we off a most beautiful Victorian Tile Back Commode. These beauties can be used in the home or office in many locations. Originally designed to hold the Victorian Wash Sets. Pitcher and Bowl Toothbrush holder, shaving mug the works. We have some for sale and should list one in another auction for display. The marble top would hold the largest Pitcher and Bowl set. This little sideboard Vanity has a massive piece of Beveled Marble in a very exotic color and matrix mix. The tiles are probably Minton or Wedgwood. They are all hand fired and have a wonderful Aesthetic Look. The back is sealed so that we cannot see the maker. All the tiles are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks nor restoration. The wood is hand carved and has a lovely Antique patina. There are some places that could use adjustment. Such as the right door is sticking a bit upon closure. The sideboard measures 51" wide by 23 1/2" deep by 42" tall. The top does lift off for moving. The handles are all brass and have the original patina. There are some age cracks in just a couple of places in the wood.
