This is a lovely antique sterling silver Waltham pocket watch from the USA. It is not working and is in need of repair. The face of the watch has some damage and there is a loose piece in the back which I think may be part of the winding stem which has been broken off (please see the photographs to judge for yourself). It has a glass front which screws on and which appears original. I don't recognise the silver marks on the inside of the case, so perhaps they are American? The number is 13468516 which I think dates it to 1903, but I'm not entirely sure. I found this watch, along with some other bits and pieces in a box at my mother's and I think it was probably her grandfather's who had lived and then died in the States. This may well have been sent back to the family when he died in the early 1900's. Evidently I am no expert but please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have about the watch and I'll try my best to answer them.
