This a 1880-1890's "Blackie" Waterbury Clock Co. 8 day mantel clock Clock has a black painted wood case (case is tight) with some nicks and minor flaking of paint. Minute hand has had a silver repair on it but is strong. Orginal face s hows it's age, but adds character. Will fit on 8 1/2" wide mantel. Back wood cover is not shown but is in excellent condtion. Mantel clock has been professionally cleaned by clock shop, all pivot holes have been tightened. Runs well, gongs on the hour, bell chime on 1/2 hour. Clock is all original except for one wood screw on rear feet and clock key. The soft tick will warm any room. This nice clock will add to any fire place mantel.
