Beautiful old Waterbury mirror mantle clock in working condition with key and pendulum. Waterbury made clocks from 1857 to 1944. I love old clocks and this is the first mirror clock I have seen. The mirror is intact and the glass in the door is fine. The clock chimes on the top of every hour. The label inside the door reads PATENTED AUG. 30TH 1870 RUBY. This probably had a finial on the top center at one time. You can see a half dowel pin hole on the back side w it would have been attached. Finials can be ordered and I can supply a phone number for a clock parts supply company upon request. The face is in good condition with a bit of paint chipping on the edges which is not visible when the door is closed. One hole w you place the key to wind the movement has a small brass trim and the other does not. The wood has a very nice grain and deep rich color. Measures 11-1/2 inches wide by 15-1/2 inches tall by 4-3/4 inches deep. Wighs 5 pounds 12 ounces befor packaging so shipping weight will be around 7 to 7-1/2 pounds. Please wait for an accurate invoice. Thank you. After running the clock for four days I realized that the main spring is weak due to age and the clock runs fast when fully wound and then slower as the the spring relaxes. It will not run for 8 days. At 140 years old I wouldn't run for one hour!
