is a well preserved and working 19C OGEE Shelf Clock from Waterbury . Beautiful two toned mahogany veneered case, with only one tiny piece of veneer missing on the lower right hand corner. Inside the case the Waterbury label is still good, some water marks and staining nut very readable and well preserved. The reverse painted tablet of a dog and goose may have been repainted at some time we purchased the clock as its shown, if it was changed it was done many years ago. T is a diamond shaped viewing space to see the pendulum/bob move back and forth. The brass movement is signed Waterbury and has been cleaned and oiled and comes with the original crank key. The pendulum and bob look original to the clock. The paper dial has been replaced and attached to the old metal back plate, we did this as the old paper dial was in very poor condition. The face measures 9" square. Overall size of the clock is 26"high, 15 1/4" wide and 4" deep. A well preserved working clock keeping good time and striking the gong on the hour. SHIPPING INFORMATION We are in Canada midway between Ottawa and Kingston in Ontario and just 1 hour from the US Border of upper New York State. For US Buyers For most of the items that we sell to US buyers we take the items across the border to the US and ship either Priority Post, Fed Ex Ground, or Greyhound from Watertown New York. This means that we clear all of the items through customs for you and your items will ship to you through the US not Canada. We travel to Watertown once a week and depending on when your item closed it will take from 4 days to 10 days to reach you. This is still faster than shipping to you from Canada, and the item is not handled by customs on either side. For Canadian Buyers: We will ship to you Canada Post, Fed Ex ground or Greyhound depending on the size of the package. Shipping costs are based on postal code. Choose paypal for immediate shipping . Checks will have a 7 day clearing period before shipping of item. Please note that most of the items that we sell are either antique, vintage or used. The items will show some usage and wear. Clothing and furs have been previously owned. We do our best to describe each item and any major conditions or flaws that exist. Most of our items are sold as is and are described exactly as shown. Please ask questions before bidding as unless t is a serious difference between what we describe and what you receive t are no returns. Any returns agreed on are at the buyers shipping expense.
