I AM FEATURING THIS FINE ORIGINAL ANTIQUE WATERCOLOR PAINTING OF A GLAMOROUS YOUNG LADY ON PAPER LAID ON BOARD WITH AN UNBELIEVABLE NO RESERVE.

SIGNED IN THE LOWER RIGHT VIRGINIA FOSS.

THE ARTIST DEPICTS A GLAMOROUS LADY WITH CURLY LONG HAIR, GLISTENING LIPS, AND A SPARKLE IN HER EYES.

THE ARTIST ALSO LEAVES ALOT TO THE IMAGINATION FOR THE VEIWER.

HER PURSED LIPS ARE VERY SENSUAL.

MANY MANY YEARS BEFORE MARIYLN MONROE AND ANNA NICOLE SMITH.

SHE IS SET IN THE THREE QUARTER POSE, WHICH IS THE BEST POSE, BECAUSE IT IS MORE INTERESTING AND NATURAL.

IT IS LESS STATIC, SYMETRICAL, AND COLD.

THE ARTIST SHOWS A GLIMPSE OF THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FACE WHICH CREATES A SENSE OF MYSTERY.

ONE WONDERS, WHEN WILL SHE TURN HER HEAD.

IT IS ALSO HARDER TO PAINT.

NO DOUBT PROFESSIONALY TRAINED IN THE OLD SCHOOL.

BOUND TO BE WON BY MUSEUM, GALLERY, HISTORICAL SOCIETY, OR PROFESSIONAL COLLECTOR AS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THAT COLLECTION.

THE DETAIL IS INCREDIBLE.

SHOWCASED IN AN OVAL ROUNDED GOLD FRAME WITH A PEBBLED GOLD MAT. THE FRAME IS AN ANTIQUE AND ORIGINAL TO THE PAINTING.

CONDITION ON ALL IS EXCELLENT EXCEPT FOR WEAR AND SCRATCHES ON THE FRAME THROUGHOUT AND A SCRATCH ON THE MAT CENTER RIGHT AND THE EDGE OF THE PAPER ON THE LEFT SHOWING VERTICAL THAT IS BARELY VISIBLE IN THE BLACK AREA. I CAN TOUCH UP THE FRAME, BUT IT WILL NEVER MATCH THE SHINEY GOLD. I WOULD JUST REPAINT IT WHICH I WILL DO UPON YOUR REQUEST. T IS ALSO A REPAIRED BREAK IN THE FRAME. THE MAT IS PAINTED GOLD. THE PAINTING IS MOUNTED ON BOARD.

THE SIZE OF THE FRAME IS 11 3/4 BY 14 3/4 INCHES. THE SIZE OF THE IMAGE IS 7 BY 9 INCHES.

Credit card payments via the free service of paypal only!!! Unverified and unconfirmed address by paypal users unwelcome. I accept all other methods of payment except credit over the phone. Condition excellent unless otherwise stated in the auction. All sales final and as is described. Many of my items are consigned to me and paid within one hour after the auction end. If you have a valid case I will fully review it with an open mind. If you have a valid claim then I will pay for the shipping both ways. Honesty is the best policy. If you have a question during the auction ask me. If I don't respond it does not merit a return. If it looks differant in person than in the auction, then I recommend viewing it with a differant monitor. Slight variaitions in color or value is very miniscule. Major variations will be disclosed in the auction. If I specify a USPS Priority flat rate then that is the actual cost including handling and shipping to any state in the continental USA. It is based on an average cost that is due to size, weight, fragility, care, time, and packaging materials. USPS priority delivery date is within 3-4 days of payment or clearance of check. If it's small and light it will be free handling. Insurance will be 1 dollar for every 100 dollars sold. I prefer the US postal service, because I can hand deliver it to any station. Some stations are open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I also like them, because of the low cost, full insurance, and the best service, and security. It's a federal crime to mess around with federal mail. Larger items (+108 girth inches) ship via UPS or Fed Ex upon my discretion. Delivery confirmation can be traced via the net for high end items and merchandise paid through paypal. All items will be double bubbled and double boxed (so rest assured). Plexiglass will be used on most items that are larger than 16 by 20 inches upon my discretion. Antique glass will be taped to minimize breakage....
