A stunning Victorian watercolour painting of Bettws y Coed, Sept. 7th/88. So am presuming this is 1888. No sign of the artists signature, i guess it could possibly be beneath this/the border, but don't want to remove it from the frame to find out. It shows a fisherman sitting by a wall, near to a flowing stream. The hills and valleys surround them. Very nicely done, with a lovely sky - great use of colours. Measures in frame approx: 22 inches in height, by 17 1/2 inches in width. I'm happy to answer any questions before close of sale. If postage works out any cheaper, i will refund the difference.
