Up for auction is an antique sterling silver fountain pen and mechanical pencil set. It is made by Waterman's Ideal. It is a Canadian Waterman Pen set. The set is beautiful. It looks to have never been used. I see no wear to the silver or plastic. Some light signs of storage. The box is missing the lid. The nib is marked Waterman's 14k Ideal Canada 2. The pen cap is marked Waterman's Sterling and the clip is marked Clip-Cap Ideal Pat Oct. 1906 Sterling. The pen body is marked sterling. The pump is marked Ideal. The black end cap of the pen is marked Waterman's Ideal Patented Aug. 9, 1906 Feb. 9,1909 Canada, Fountain Pen. The pen measures 5 1/4" long with the cap on and the pencil is 5 1/8" long. I have not tested the pen. I believe it has been stored since it's purchase so if it has a bladder I am sure it is dried out. The pen is all original. I don't think you will find a nicer unrestored Sterling Silver Watermen Set. It is fresh out of an old estate!!
