A rare old hammered copper weather vane. The information I've been able to pull on it is minimal at most. I believe this is the Washburn type weathervane of Sulky Horse & Rider. It is very old. How old? That's tough. T are no markings on it. The only thing close is at an antique shop and they list the value at $1500.00 to $3000.00. Wow, that's great but this is ebay. It's only worth what it sells for. The bottom copper bar shown in the last photo is the stand. It was removed from the stand but it is in good condition and three small drops of solder put it back on. If the winner would like, I can resolder it. I like it without the bar attached. It displays nicer and t is no way I'm putting this old horse and rider out in the weather again. To me it's an indoor piece now. How they measure these is odd. With the bar on it is 34"L x 11"D x 16¼"H. Which is the same exact dimensions as the real expensive ones. I think this is called Washburn style. Making this very old. I wish I could tell you more. It's tarnished and dirty but other than being removed from the bar is complete soldered and intact. Please ask question. Please tell me more about this. Please bid.
