GOOD ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD JASPER DORIC JUG c1864 COBALT DIP Description: GOOD ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD JASPER DORIC JUG c1864 COBALT DIP Good antique Wedgwood Jasper 'Doric' jug, backstamped as shown with the diamond mark for 1861 and the Wedgwood year code for 1864. The jug measures approximately 7.5ins high and is generally in very good condition: there are one or two tiny cracks in the white sprigging, not uncommon in pieces of this age; one small crack to the blue dip (to the LHS of the lower part of the handle), and a fine brown ring just below the rim (visible in the photographs), otherwise all OK - no evidence of restoration. A good quality, very scarce, piece of antique Jasper. All items carefully packed for shipping. Prompt despatch. 0/636
