For Auction this antique Victorian Aesthetic Movement Wheel Cut Engraved Decanter with Stopper - 1860 - 1880 . This is a very well executed hand blown globe & shaft decanter with sliced-cut neck , star-cut stepped base and fine wheel-cut aesthetic movement fern engraving , complete with the original star-cut and fine engraved balloon stopper. The Glass is in general good antique used condition , commensurate with materials , great age and use , no damage just light body usage wear , no big chips and no cracks. The only thing worth noting is some light coloured residue for the bottom half of the globe , this is not at all noticeable when the decanter is full !!!! Measuring approximately ...... 292mm (11 1/2in) tall including the stopper ..x.. 132mm (5 1/4in) diameter. Weighing approximately ......... 725 gms (UNPACKED) Questions welcome .
