You are buying a fairly large antique Whieldon Ware pitcher in the pheasant pattern. It was manufactured by F. Winkle & Company LTD, an English firm, sometime between 1911 and 1925. The pitcher is 6 1/2 inches tall at the spout and 7 inches wide at the widest point of its body. It has some superficial cracking to its bottom which doesn't seem to go through the full thickness. There is some wear to the gold trim around the rim and some scratching. Otherwise, the piece is in very good condition for its age and really beautiful to behold.Thank you for your purchase.
