An antique white and gilt damask and embroidered Roman catholic chasuble, early 20th century Description: On offer is this attractive textile chasuble. It originates from an old Dutch convent church which closed down recently. Dating to the first decades of 20th century this set is made of beautiful damask silk church fabric, adorned with gold colored braids, while the back of the fiddle shaped chasuble shows a woven width with the IHS monogram in a cross shape. The inside is lined with red silk like fabric. This antique vestment is in excellent condition, with hardly any traces of use and wear.
