This wonderful antique pudding, or jelly, mold is in very nice condition. A smaller version than often seen it has a smooth exterior and a fluted interior. The bird design at the bottom is quite deep and resembles a pigeon. This is a great example of early ironstone with a faint bluish cast. Surely dating to the late 1800's. Condition is very good with no chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines or repairs. T is a tiny glaze pop at the rim with some darkening, around the edge, as can be seen in the photos. T is a tiny dark spot at the interior bottom that appears to be the result of a glaze pop. T is no crazing to the glaze either inside or out. The bottom is flat and unglazed and the only markings found are the letter "E" and the number "5". This little jewel stands 2 3/4" high, 5" long and 3 3/4" wide. Please ask any questions prior to bidding as all sales are final.
