THIS IS AN ANTIQUE WICKER AND METAL BABY/ DOLL SLEIGH CARRIAGE. I'M NOT SURE OF THE EXACT AGE OF THE SLEIGH BUT BELIEVE TO BE LATE 1800'S. WICKER BASKET IS LINED WITH A SACK LIKE CLOTH AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING ITS AGE. THE RAILS ON THE SLEIGH DOES SHOW RUST AS THIS ITEM HAS NEVER BEEN RESTORED. THE HANDLE I BELIEVE IS WOOD AND SHOWS WEAR AS OUTER PAINT IS WORN OFF. THE SLEIGH MEASURE 34" HIGH X 37" LONG AND 15" WIDE. THE WICKER BASKET MEASURES 25" X 12" X 9" DEEP. THE WICKER BASKET IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE WITH NO HOLES OR BROKEN PIECES. THIS WAS A DONATION TO THE RYDERWOOD FIRE DEPARTMENT AUXILIARY AND THEY HAVE ADDED A HAND QUILTED CRIB BLANKET AND PILLOW.
