Original Wolf Miner's Safety Lamp from Hanna Wyoming Mine Provenance: During the1930s 18 year old Max W. worked at the Hanna, WY coal mine. This is his original Wolf safety lamp that he retained for the rest of his life. It is stamped 56 on the top, presumably by the Hanna, WY Coal Mine Company. It is complete, with original globe. The brass Dept. of Interiors, Bureau of Mines Permissable Flame Medallion issued to the Wolf Safety Lamp Co. of America, NY, is in readable and good condition. The replaceable hook is missing.
