Up for auction is a stone lithograph of Pucrasia Duvauceli by Daniel Giraud Elliot (1835-1915) from his rare book monograph Family of Pheasants. On the bottom is J. Wolf & J. Smit Del. Et. Lith. and M &N Hanhart IMP. On close examination this is beleived to be a Stone lithograph which was the original lithographs made from the original painting and puts the date ca 1890. It also looks to have some hand coloring. The Litho is in very good condition. The frame measures 26 1/2 x 24 inches. The back has a sticker stating "W.Russell Button Gallery Formerly of Ackermann's 408 south Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Original Lithograph in Color Pucrasia Duvauceli By J. Wolf and J Smit.
