In an effort to find the right trunk to fit Lola's little Buggy, I have accumulated quite a few. I need to make some space fast, so I am offering it for sale along with some others I will be listing in the next few weeks. Good deals for all to be had! I have not much knowledge on trunks, only what I have been told when I bought them or what others have told me since. This could be a salesman sample, doll or child's trunk. Not sure of exact age, but it is old, maybe late 1800s or early 1900s, but I have no way to prove that. Wood is a beautiful rich golden color with nice graining, age spots and stains. Measures overall 12" x 6" x 6". Lovely looking trunk for your dolls or decor either displayed open or closed, in what I consider in good condition for its age with the exception of the usual old age cracks, dings and wear, but still real nice looking. Leather straps with silver engraved buckles are new and look great on the trunk as well as some tacks, tray paper and adorable bear decal. Interior is all wood. Key works lock. As far as I can tell, all of the metal trim, hinges and lock are original. Clean and no major smells. I think it looks so much nicer in person than in photos, much more detail. I really like this little one, just too cute and so much character! Also check out my other trunk, doll clothes, tack I have listed and will list in the weeks to come. If not paid until the end of the week, shipping may be delayed a few days.I usually start my auctions at .99 with no reserve and let you decide how much to pay for something. I try to mail out items the day after they are paid for, however it is not always possible to get to the Post Office as quickly as hoped. Be assured I will try to mail out items as quickly as I am able. I am happy to combine items for less expensive mailing costs if it can safely be done with this trunk. Insurance is always a good idea as well, not only for damage, but also in case of loss in the mail system. I am not responsible for an item once I put it in the care of the postal system.
