FABULOUS MAHOGANY FRAMED ANTIQUE MIRROR 27" X 19" This is a terrific example of early craftsmanship. This is a rounded top extremely heavy wood framed mirror. It has the gorgeous beveled edges. If someone has a hint on how to actually take a picture of a mirror please let me know as I cannot get a picture without reflection to show the little black dots on the glass! I am not positive it is mahogany but if not it is definitely a very heavy wood as just the mirror weighs over 15 pounds which is alot for this size! I have been told, but don't know for sure, that this is probably from the 1800's as it has the wood planked back. The frame is made like tongue and grrove - not sure the exact term. The wood back has tiny nails in it though. T are no cracks or chips in the mirror but t are spots which i don't know if experts could clean up or not? It is still fabulous even with them as one obviously knows how very very old this piece it. I have estimated the shipping and will only ship via UPS to Canada or United States. If the shipping is more than the buyer agrees to pay the difference as until this is wrapped it is impossible to be exact. I do know it has to be extremely carefully packaged! Due to the size of this it will be considered oversize for shipping which is why it ends up being so costly - nothing I can do on that - sorry . This is sold as is due to the difficult packaging so if any questions please email me before bidding.
