ANTIQUE WOOD PLANE W ORIGINAL BLADE & WEDGE SIGNED This is an antique wood plane in 'as found' condition, which is pretty darned good condition. This is plane # 1 for selling purposes (I have 11) and they are identified by number for pictures and auction. The original blade and wooden wedge are with this plane. The blade is marked: Warranted Cast Steel Humphreysville Mfg. Co. I cannot see any markings on the ends. This has a curved cut to it. . This plane measure 9 1/2" long and is 3/4" wide. It has a wonderful original aged patina. Very well cared for I would say. I believe this would be used for moulding, but I am not sure. We have some other wooden planes of the same age we are auctioning this week also. Take a look, we would be happy to combine shipping for you! We are far from experts and have tried to describe and photograph this item to the best of our ability. We are liquidating boxes of mom's collectibles for her. She has an eclectic collection of this and that. Her favorite pastimes are estate sales, auctions and flea markets. We have 40+ boxes to go through - so we will be listing for a while. Please ask BEFORE you bid if you have any questions. Payment is expected within 5 days of auction close. PayPal is preferred but we do accept money orders and checks. Please notify us within 24 hours if you are not using PayPal for payment. All items will be securely packed. Insurance is required on all fragile items. Combined shipping is available unless items are too fragile or heavy. Priority Mail is our preferred method of shipping. UPS is available for items heavier than 6 lbs. All items are sold 'as is' - returns are only accepted if item is not as described and we are notified the day of receipt.
