Antique Wooden Cased Metal Paperweight/Armorial Crest Seal Beaufoy Coat Of Arms Description: Superb Metal (Lead?) Paperweight(?) With Armorial Crest Motto: Sub Tegmine Fagi (Beneath The Shelter Of Virtgil's Spreading Beech) In Beautiful Wooden Case (Please see my other listings) Condition: Very Good, antique condition as photographs. So impressive that I would be surprised if this wasn't made for someone of extraordinary high standing. My guess, from the wooden case, is that it dates from about 1900 - but please make up your own mind from photographs. Paperweight/seal is approx 3" and 2 3/4" in diameter at base; wooden case is approx 5" in height and 5 1/2" diameter at base - it weighs over 2 kg in weight!
