Ladies and Gentlemen: Listed here is a very Nice Early Cedar Butter Churn. This Churn Appears to be all original Condition and Shows Some Slight wear from it use. I saw an Advertisment Dated 1915 Where These Churns were Sold by Belknap Hardware Stores in the early 1900's Ranging from 4.75 Each for the Wire Rings and for 7.50 for the Copper Bands. This Particular Churn has got the Copper Bands instead of the Welded Wire Rings found on many of these Churns. I have sold many of these Churns that have the Welded Wire Rings/Bands but I Have never Saw an original one that had all of the Bands in Copper. This was one of the best Churns that money would buy in the Early 1900's. It measures 9" Across the Top X 12" Diameter Across The Bottom X 20" Tall Making it a 5 Gallon Size. It measures 39" Tall Including the Dasher. This came From an Estate of an Elderly Lady whom is Now deceased from Surry County, NC . If you Appreciate Very Nice Early Americana you Will Absolutely Love This Wonderful Cedar Butter Churn. It could use a good Cleaning but not to damage its Patina I will leave the cleaning to the buyer. This will be professionally Packaged and Shipped UPS.
