Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working 1903 Victorian Oak Parlor Mantel Gingerbread Kitchen Shelf Clock, made by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Company Winsted Conn. USA. It has a Large Ornate Carved Oak Wood Case with Floral Designs and Painted Red Highlights. The Glass Tablet is a Reverse Painted Glass with Silver Angel Cherubs Design, in Good Condition. The Original Gilbert Clock Company Maker's Label is on the Back, Which Label This Clock as "Bouquet No. 50". The Dial is a Paper Dial Over Tin with Brass Center Ring and Trim . It has a Gilbert Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime , which Works and Strikes Correctly! The Movement is Signed "1903 Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted Conn. USA 6 1/2". There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Rare Fancy Brass Victorian Adjustable Regulator Pendulum. The Clock measures approx. 23 1/4" Tall x 15 1/2" Wide x 4 1/2" Deep. This Clock Runs and Keeps Time, and is in Good Condition!!!! ! This will make a Stunning addition to your home. This is in Overall Good Original Condition, As Pictured! ! Don't pass this one up! This is Estate Fresh, Sold As Found. Due to the Delicate Nature of these Old Clocks, I am Selling This "As Is" with NO RESERVE. Clock may need to be lubed and adjusted again after shipping.
