Awesome Hercules 50 Cap Dynamite Blasting Machine Detonator. Just like in the cartoons! Own a true piece of history. This is really what won the west. Think of all the mines, highways, rivers, dams etc that had to be blasted out of rock.Dove-tail oak cabinet with brass screws and terminals, and leather strap. Handle is solid wood. Brass plate states: Maximum Rating: 50 Electric Blasting Caps with 30 ft Copper Wires. Connect Only in Series Shown To Fire: Raise the Handle Until it Stops: Then Push Down Quickly with Full Force. Manufactured in the 1900s by the Fidelity Electric Company of Lancaster Pennsylvania, by the Hercules Powder Company of Wilmington Delaware. Machine is in working condition. Registered over 14 volts D.C. on a multimeter. Handle raises & lowers with ease. Moving parts can be heard inside. Box measures: 13"H x 6 1/2" W x 8"LThis machine weighs around 20 pounds.
