Wonderful antique TEA COZY in woven tapestry fabric! I purchased this from an estate sale over 22 years ago. The previous owner was English and had many items from that country in her collections. Measures approx. 12" tall x 12" wide x 7" thick. This item is in excellent condition with no water damage or staining anyw The top has a metal handle with a metal double sided closure that opens when pressed upwards and clicks shut. Was made to hold a good sized teapot. The interior is lined in peach colored satin. T are a few slight wrinkles at the bottom of fabric outside and will straighten out when put to use again. No markings that I can find but it is definitely English. No rips, or tears whatsoever! This was kept in great condition before I purchased it and I took good care of it also. The fabric is a medium gold color with pink, mauve, and burgundy flowers and green foliage. Very pleasing!
