Very unusual writing desk of a lighter inlaid wood. The desk is kidney shaped and is 47" across and 24" deep from the wall to the front. It has the 4" high platfrom in the back w you can see the drawers. That section is 5" deep. Excellent woodworking. I cannot tell the period and I am not able to name the "style", but the desk came from the estate of a woman who made a career out of traveling the world in the 1940's and '50's. Please take notice of the 2 areas of damage to the leather top. A very classic piece and unusual piece. I would prefer to sell this desk locally, but can assist you if you are willing to pay to have it shipped.
