Very unusual Antique French Military Binoculars made by the order of the United States Signal Service Bureau around 1900.

The U.S. Army Signal Corps was founded in 1860 by United States Army Major Albert J. Myer , a physician by training. The Signal Corps develops and tests communication equipment for the battlefield. Tis Binocular is a good piece of the American History

It is signed "US Signal Service" and "Day & Night" on each tube and also"A. Lefevre France"

This binoculars have 2 telescopic mashined copper shadow tibe covers, of 1.3/4" long each
