ITEM: Antique WWII Imperial Japanese Army model 1938 (type 98) tropical dress tunic/jacket. It has a pair of ventilation holes on both armpits, see the pics. It's unused, still has collar protection cloth inside. Inside shows a koh marking, model marking, and manufacturer on the inside. All the stamps is very clear. It's dated Showa 17, which is 1942. It's a model 1938 (type 98), size 6. The front buttons looks made of bakelite or celluloid, very beautiful. From armpit to armpit measures 18.50 inches. From the top of the collar to the bottom of the tunic measures 28.50 inches. From shoulder to shoulder measures 15.50 inches. Sleeve length is 21.25 inches.
