ANTIQUE JAPANESE SOLDIER'S æ--¥ã®ä¸¸å¯,,æ>¸ITEM: A very nice WWII era Imperial Japanese Army soldier's silk yosegaki battle flag. It measures 34 inches x 27 inches. On the right it reads BUUNCHOUKYUU (Good Fortune in Battle). On top reads SHUKU NYUUDAN (Entered the Force). Top left corner is the person who gave this flag to the soldier, his name was Shimanaka Genichi-san. On the left is the soldier's name, Fuse Chouzaimon-kun. The "kun" suffix lets us know he was a young man. The condition of the flag is good, of course t is going to be some staining and small holes. Both corner ties are still t The winner will love it. This comes from my personal collection and I guarantee it to be original, as all my auctions are. Soon t will be a great book out on Senninbari & Yosegaki flags like this.
