This is a beautiful working antique wind-up stick gum dispenserwith original wind-up key and door key. The exterior has been refinished. however, the interior is original with "special notice" and "directions" on inside of door. I believe that this was made around 1900...t is a patent date Aug.1, 1893 but the year is really a guess since it is difficult to read. If you Google Zeno gum machine it will display this date as the earliest machine. The inside has a inspected by stamp but again it is hard to read the name. T is a small magnet that rejects non-pennies. It will still work with modern stick gum. Also a number stamped into the wood on the front 90 087, maybe serial number. The front metal plate is stamped "Drop One Cent in the Slot and obtain a stick of Zeon Chewing Gum assorted flavors: pepsin, vanilla cream, lemonade, yucca, licorice, peppermint, pineapple Zeno Mfg. Co. Chicago" T is also a grass window to see the gum in the machine. If you would like more photos or infomation please email me. It weights between 14-15 lbs. and is 17in. high x 10.5in. wide x 9in. deep. Insured parcel post shipping is about $20.00. I will charge only what the actual cost is. It will be very carefully packaged to prevent damage. Please only serious buyers this is a collectors items and I will refund only if the description is not correct. (no postage refunded)
