I had to pull this earlier this morning due to all of the questions. MY! MY! MY! you antique guys are a hard room to play. This is a 1 day auction , This will be over 12/ 13 at 3:30 Pm Central time If thier isn't bidding by the end of the second day i will remove it so I can get it in the weekend paper I say this in only becase it was going to end at 10:00am12/11/07 but I had to pull it do to a error . Th is is a antique rocking horse. I've tired to get the best pictures I could, But I think my camera has gone nuts. This is what I know about the horse I thought he didn't have any nails or repairs to him ,but I stand corrected. I from a nail on the bottom side see picture 10 . You are looking at the bottom left rear leg, it has a nail showing. also the crack thats on his back side by the tail is about a 1" deep going from the saddle to the rear leg. Also t is a hair line crack on the other side behind the saddle 4" long The bottom has a small crack about 6" long t is a number stamped on the bottom #5 have know ideal if that means anything. the metal eyes and metal for the leather trims are original. The brass nails on the neck and saddle are original. The seat part on the saddle has been replaced at some time along with the trims that goes around the seat.
