For sale is a stunning antique Victorian style shadow box frame with picture of a distinguishing older man. The frame has a ornate marbling design on front.There are two gold gilt sections. One is closest to the picture and has a lined design. The second gold gilt section is between the outer and middle frame. There are floweral engravings on both the inner and outer areas of marbled sections.The matting surrounding the picture of gentleman is burgundy, green with a gold sparkle edging. The back of frame consists of three multilevel sections. There is a thinner piece of wood backing behind picture held in place with small nails. There are circular hooks of both sides of back with a wire for hanging. On the middle frame section is printed on the wood "No. 452". Age: circa 1800's. Condition: Very good considering age. Very sturdy. Has some chipping on corners and stain on matting. Measurements: Frame approx. H-17",W-15.25", D-3". Picture approx. L-9.75", W- 7". Insurance required on this item.
