Antique pressed tin button of very fine design.
The image is of St, Hubert, his horse and his dogs during the vision of a Stag with an illuminated cross. Religious subject matter, probably the finest ever made of the St. Hubert story. One not only sees the hunter and the stag with the crucifix but the hunter's horse and dogs as well. Reference in BBB page 571 #3 which refers to Nicholls Button Handbook Sup III (three) page 36. Excellent condition.
