Super condition for this old cast iron buggy, railroad or Model T automobile lamp...glass lens is marked " Jefferson 911 " and the door opens and closed well with a hinge that is in very good condition. Exterior of the piece is very nice...not sure if the black color is original...it would appear to have possibly been repainted, and if so was done excellently. No dings or dents...lens is excellent. Interior shows age patina as you can see, but it does still have it's little burner and wick present...wick turn knob works. I cannot get the oil font off...seems to need a bit more muscle than I can give to it! No makers name or mark on the cast iron area, just the lens. Measures in at about 8 & 1/2"tall . Back side has a hex nut protrusion...perhaps it was w it would insert into a slot on buggy, railcar or automobile. Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment. Also, unfortunately, with some buyers taking advantage of the system, we can no longer ship International First Class as it does not provide tracking ability for packages. To do so adds to the weight and expense for shipping. Please be aware that if you make this request, you must do so prior to paying as your invoice must be adjusted to accommodate the additional shipping weight.
