APB Pretty Antique Cut Glass 5" Master Knife Rest Please click any photo to enlarge. Made of fine quality, heavy lead crystal, this master knife rest is a barbell shape with cut decoration. The ball ends are cut with 14 large notched miters around the circumference and each miter is finished at the inside & outside edges with teardrop shaped loop cuts. The outer most side of each ball is ground & polished flat and cut with a star. The bar is cut with 6 notched panels. The knife rest measures about 5¼" long x about 1¾" high at the ball ends. It is in good over-all condition, but does have some very tiny chips to the high edges w it touches when sitting on any hard surface. The picture below shows the largest 2, but t is another on the other ball (smaller than this) and other very tiny chips that aren't really visible unless you get close and search for them.
